But as for this I do agree with you. Sports have never really caught my eye. And to be truthful only one old world sport I like and that is cricket. But I no longer get to watch it. I agree with you. But in some way unless a major thing happens this world will realy never be united. Every one seems to forget what a smile or an act of kindness can do. One thing that struck me was that you didn't suggest a solution of some sort. If there aren't any judges, then who decides? The crowd? That's the same as letting in a third party. And the athletes certainly cannot judge each other, the role of partiality will come into play, which would put everything back to square one. It's a lose-lose type situation...or maybe I'm missing a point here. If you eliminated the games involving who's faster, stronger, better etc, Olympics would probably be a moot point...
