I sadly agree with you, that this will solve nothing, and nobody will learn a thing. I've long felt that the drug laws were achieving nothing, that they, more than anything else, fed the cycle we have in our country, the cycle the politions are claiming to try to stop. I mean, police officers do the drugs they confiscate, people with casual, within-reason use of weed and other drugs get their lives ruined by these tyrannical laws, and the thrill of the chase is what fuels most people anyway. I think we seriously need to rething our drug policies. And I really, really hate hypocrites.
